Our March meeting will be back to our normal Wednesday evening: March 19, at 7:00 p.m. Gary Tiffin's talk planned for February -- Reflectionss of a Retired Stamp Dealer -- will be the program. Not only that: we will celebrate our club's 92nd birthday, and there are rumors of a birthday cake.

Plan to attend our STAMPEX show on Sunday, March 16. The show opens at 10:00, and closses by 4:00 -- maybe earlier. See our Shows tab for the list of dealers. More volunteers to set up and take down will be appreciated.

The John Arn Philatelic Symposium will be in Moses Lake, Washington on Saturday, March 29 (and welcoming attendees Friday evening). This is a friendly and informative event that has been happening for over thirty years, sponsored by the Northwest Federation of Stamp Clubs. Looking ahead a little: on Wednesday evening, April 23, we will have a Stamp ID workshop, at 7:00 p.m. at Lisa Janz's home, 1275 Elser Ct. SE in Salem. Bring the stamps you are unsure about. Some good equipment, plus specialized catalogs in the club library, will be on hand.

Our meetings are also accessible by Zoom. Write to salemstampsociety@gmail.com several days before the meeting for the Zoom invitation.

Tell Lisa Janz if you are willing to provide a "Frame of the Month" at one of our meetings.

The purpose of the Salem Stamp Society shall be

to promote fellowship of all who are interested in the study of philately,
to facilitate the exchange of knowledge of the various branches of the hobby among its members,
to assist members in the acquisition and disposal of stamps and other philatelic materials,
to encourage participation in exhibiting at philatelic functions,
and to disseminate information relating to philately among its members and the general public.
